*HOW DO I GET THE KEY?*
- The front door is equipped with a state-of-the-art Schlage Encode keyless smart lock.
- The access code will be provided to you 24 hours prior to your arrival time.
*WHERE CAN I PARK?*
- A maximum of 5 sedan-sized vehicles is allowed in front of the house (3 reserved spots in the driveway to the left of the house and 2 free street parking spot in front of the house).
*IS THE POOL HEATED?*
- The pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee.
- The fee is $100/day, with a minimum of 2 consecutive days required. (This fee reflects the current gas prices in California, and we do not make a profit on it.)
- The heater runs from 9 AM to 9 PM, set to 85°F. Please note that on hotter days or in warmer weather, you may not notice a significant difference in the water temperature.
- It may take up to 12 hours to heat the pool for the first time, so please let us know in advance if you'd like the pool heated for your stay.
*I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO SWIM; CAN I STILL USE THE POOL?*
- The pool is more than 6 feet deep on the far-right side, away from the stepping stairs. We recommend staying only in the shallow part of the pool (the side near the turf) if you do not know how to swim. The floats are not intended to be used as rescue devices, and there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool.
- Additional pool rules include: no diving, no glass near the water, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
### YOU MUST SIGN OUR LIABILITY WAIVER WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BOOKING IN ORDER TO USE THE POOL. ###
*IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT USING THE POOL?*
- Our Saltwater pool is serviced regularly on Mondays and Thursdays in the early AM. Please allow access to the pool maintenance personnel during these times.
- The area is occasionally affected by sandstorms, and although we regularly test the water, sediments may accumulate at the bottom of the pool. We provide a skimmer and a rechargeable handheld pool vacuum for guests to use if additional cleaning is needed.
- We provide patio umbrellas for sun protection. However, due to the strong winds in the area, you assume full responsibility for any damage caused by the umbrellas. Please do not leave them unattended, and always fold them down when not in use.
- Pool floats and outdoor water-resistant throw pillows are available for use, stored in the black storage container.
*IS THERE ANY SECURITY MEASURE AT YOUR PLACE?*
- There are no recording devices inside the house.
- There are 5 external Ring cameras actively recording/monitoring the outdoor area. There is no recording device in the interior of the house.

*IS THERE ANY SAFETY MEASURE AT YOUR PLACE?*
- Alarm device for any door entrance to the pool, inspected and approved by the city.
- Smoke & carbon monoxide alarms throughout, inspected monthly.
- Fire Extinguisher is located within the kitchen.
- First-aid supplies are located within the kitchen.
### Please keep in mind that any attempt or evidence of tampering with security/safety systems will result in immediate cancellation and the forfeiture of any payments. We take the safety of our guests and neighbors very seriously. ###
*WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME?*
- Check-in is at 4 PM. Check-out is at 10 AM.
*CAN I CHECK IN EARLY OR CHECK OUT LATE?*
- Yes, with prior approval. Early check-in and/or late check-out depend on our booking schedule and seasonality. These may be complimentary or incur an additional fee. Please message us early for details, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
*HOW DO I REACH OUT TO THE HOST?*
- Primary communication is through this platform's messaging system.
- Phone calls are available for urgent matters. Please keep in mind that this is not a hotel, so we can only provide immediate assistance within normal office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
- For any true emergency, please call 911.
*WHAT IS THE WIFI PASSWORD?*
- The network details will be provided in your check-in message.
*DO YOU ALLOW PETS?*
- We allow pets with prior approval from the host.
- A maximum of 2 pets is allowed.
- Please provide the type, breed, and weight of your pet, and confirm that your pet is house-trained.
- Pets must be attended to by guests at all times.
- Yard droppings need to be picked up afterward.
- Exception: Service animals with official documentation are allowed without a pet fee.
- Unauthorized pets will result in immediate cancellation without a refund and a $1000 fine.
*WHAT IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD LIKE?*
- The home is located in a lively yet very safe neighborhood. As it is still a residential area, please use common sense and be respectful of our neighbors during your stay—just as you would in your own hometown.
### It is essential that we do not receive complaints from the city in order to continue sharing our lovely home with you and future guests. ###
*DO YOU PROVIDE ANY CONCIERGE SERVICE FOR MY STAY?*
- The house is cleaned and inspected prior to arrival and after departure by the cleaning crew as part of your booking.
- Additional cleaning services during your stay may be requested for an additional fee.
*DO YOU HAVE AN OUTDOOR SPEAKER SYSTEM? CAN I PLAY MUSIC OUTDOORS?*
- We do not have any amplified speaker systems outdoors due to noise complaints, but you are welcome to play music at a reasonable volume from your smart devices.
- Since we are located in a very peaceful neighborhood, we practice common quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM.
*CAN I SMOKE AT THE PROPERTY?*
- No smoking or vaping is allowed in our home or any indoor space. This applies to both tobacco and cannabis use.
- A violation will result in immediate cancellation without a refund and a $1000 additional cleaning fee. Please note that we have smoke-detecting devices indoors.
*CAN I ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE IN THE HOUSE?*
- Guests can adjust the temperature freely, but we kindly request that guests maintain a temperature between 73°F and 78°F to prevent overtaxing the AC system.
- Please note that if service is needed, our AC technician requires 24 hours' notice.
*ARE WATER AND ICE PROVIDED DURING THE STAY?*
- The fridge may or may not have a functioning water filter and ice maker. To ensure you always have access to water and ice, we provide a Brita pitcher and ice trays.
- For larger groups, we recommend purchasing additional ice from nearby stores, as our appliances are designed primarily for residential use and may not produce enough ice quickly.
*I HAVE FRIENDS (FAMILY) IN TOWN, CAN THEY VISIT ME DURING MY STAY?*
- No parties or visitors are allowed during your stay.
- Violations will result in immediate cancellation without a refund and a $1000 fine.
### Due to past instances involving unpermitted parties, we have implemented additional requirements for reservations near maximum guest capacity:
- Guests must have an overall 5.0 rating from previous reviews.
- For large group reservations, we do not accept guests who reside locally. ###
*CAN I BOOK FOR MORE THAN 28 DAYS?*
- Longer-term bookings are available with different scheduled fees and a rental contract. Please contact the host for details.
*CAN I CANCEL MY RESERVATION ANYTIME?*
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events that could impact your travel plans. Please take a moment to carefully read and understand our cancellation policy, as we strictly adhere to these policies without exception.
